I believe this with all my heart. I pray for you every night, and hug your teddy bears close to me when I'm feeling super down, and just needing that extra reminder we are in this together. Soon I will be on my mission, and you will have hit your 6th month mark! I can't believe how fast time flies. I'm grateful for your example, and can't wait to be serving in countries side by side with my sweetheart. <3

Our love story all began at Pizza Pie Cafe. Yes...we were those two employees who fell in love, and it goes a little something like this....
ReplyDeleteI was working 2 days a week, and attending UVU the other 3. After much confusion figuring out which college to go to, and where to work after 2 jobs took me, then turned me down when realizing my schedule would not work with theirs, My last resort was Pizza Pie.
I Worked,
Went to School,
and spent time with my family....That was my daily routine. My mission was always my focus as I still had a year to go, but dating came last.
I remember one day in late September, this very handsome man walks in, thinking he's just another customer i ran over to help him. He introduced himself as Zac, and asked for our manager. After overhearing their conversation, I was so excited to find out he would be a new morning person which meant I would possibly be working with him as well. I texted Rachael that night telling her about Zac.
"Rach the most handsome man just started working at Pizza Pie, but all the girls like him, so there's no chance, but just wanted to let you know." ;)
A few weeks passed, and all I could do was enjoy his company which he always smelt so good BTW. :D All the girls at work talked about him, and I too joined in. It wasn't until the day I cut my finger that I actually had a conversation with Zac. Although it hurt, and I got in trouble for not wearing cut gloves, it was all worth it cause that's the day my life changed FOREVER!!
I ran to the sink, blood gushing and Zac came to my aid. He helped me wash my finger and bandage it, but all the while we were laughing and talking. Our manager Andrew got angry cause we were talking the rest of the day and apparently not "working" hard enough.
This is Zac's first week in France. He is having a really hard time with everything, but so am I;) ha Like i know leaving a country, learning a new language, and having an awkward companion makes things tough, but ZACHARY WHEN YOU READ THIS, KNOW THAT I AM STRUGGLING SO MUCH TOO! I mean seriously I don't Have you here with me anymore, and it really just stinks...there is no other words to put it. It feels like you died and come to life once a week. I miss you so much sweetie, but I know we are in this together, and i'm learning to take it one day at a time. I know it's never going to be easy, but it's getting easier. I love my missionary so much, and can't wait to soon serve my own...to be out there side by side teaching the gospel to those around me.
